Aroostook Monuments was established in 1980 and offers a full range of services, including memorial design, custom engraving, and placement of monuments throughout the region.  Serving all of Aroostook County, our primary facilities are located in Presque Isle,  Maine.   

We pride ourselves  on providing guaranteed monuments and  quality workmanship at a reasonable cost.

We have many monuments  to choose from, with different shapes, styles and sizes. We have grass markers, uprights, slants, benches, and columbariums.  Various colors are in stock, such as barre gray, mahogany, North American pink, imperial pink, jet black, impala black, bahama blue, and paradiso.   Many additional colors are available by special order. All monuments have a balance rock pitch on the base, so if it gets bumped and chipped, the chip does not show.  Another term frequently used is a polished 2,3, or 5. This means the monument has a smooth finish on the front, back, and sides.  Monuments can have a smooth top, or a serp top, which is a wave-like finish across the top. Columbariums are monuments that can hold urns for those who don’t want their ashes scattered or buried.  We also have over 1000 designs in our library that can be engraved into your monument included in our price. The designs are only limited by the size of monument chosen.

We also carry urns and flower vases which can be mounted on your monument.  We have monuments with beautiful etchings in color or white. Color etchings include farm scenes, camping, hunting, and fishing scenes. Porcelain portraits  are available. These are photos  that can be mounted directly on your monument.
